school started today
was hopping around other people's blogs
whoa, everybody was blogging about first day at school

first day at school was, well, slackish (DANIEL LIM, I AM NOT A SLACKER!) i think generally we did nothing much. and strangely the day ended really quite fast. other than the mep bit, which was also really quite slack, it was actually pretty alright

i mean, assembly was REALLY long. we danced like family dance AND line dance. which personally, to me, serves ABSOLUTELY no purpose except to waste time. i mean, seriously, who takes joy outta 1500 odd secondary girls dancing a dance they don't even want to dance to begin with in the first place. see? senseless

after the primary girls were dismissed, secondary girls were called to sit on the track and mrs goh went through the new timetable thingy with us. i no longer have early days!!! :/ everyday ends at 2. but now we have staggered recess. upper seconday is 11-1145. lower secondary is 1030-1115. still have my 45 mins, so what the heck. (:

maths after assembly. it was THREE periods. i have maths EVERDAY, nothing unusual, except instead of the normal 2 periods per day, i get 3 periods every monday and tuesday. WHAT?! my brain can't take that much maths. it will... breakdown, malfunction, die, disappear!

anyway, maths was quite slack la. did some trignometry. well, we just TOUCHED on it. and some kinematics worksheet. was generally ok.

english after that. I'M HAPPY HAPPY. cos i did well for my compre. (((:

then, recess.

chinese after that. ash told me during recess our teacher changed to THE HOD OF CHINESE. i nearly fainted. she scares the hell outta me. when she walked into class me and ash were like, STAY INVISIBLE. ACT GOOD. COPY EVERYWORD SHE SAYS. she's freaking scary. i have decided. i will NEVER raise my hand in her lessons. and she wants to me to sing a song cos i said "nevermind" and was super confused by her so i kept talking in english. NEHH LA! i poke her! i mean, that's if i actually dared. her lesson was spent in constant fear.

then, GEOG. was horrible? got back geog paper. STUPID SMART (oxymoron) ASH got like HOW freaking high for her elective history and me? -digs a hole and hides. i'm MORTIFIED! i'm gna hide in this hole FOREVER! well, like ALOT of people did badly in my class, so i should just be glad i got an ABOVE average percentage. nehh la!

MEP. got test that i hardly studied for. shipei and jinan gave me a african music crash course. was OK la. the test. i think my world music thing sure die and i put D MAJOR as D MINOR for analysis. other than that, it was ok la. think i'll do well for music history! ((:

mrs tham wanted to let us out at 6 but she talked till like 620?! and my bladder was fit to burst la. stupid nehh.

my dearie's a sweetheart. (((:

went to the hall and waited for pris and rahh.
dinner with them.
bused home.

that sums up my day. goshh, how incredibly wordy. hahaha

last week was nuts

played like heck, had plenty fun

woke up way to late this morning to go marist myself
so i asked ger for a ride

yesterday was CRAZY
training in the morning
had to cabbed down cos i woke up late

after that, came back home

at about six, went back to secondary hall

it's MY night

goshh, i have a CLUELESS dearie

anyhow, met jean at amk central mos at, well, it was suppose to 11 but off cos we were late

talked to about 1130?
at mos la
then bused down to marist

reached and ran around measuring stuffs la, thinking of things to do for the gathering deco etc.
whoa, so fun!
especially when we were trying to measure the steps
haha!

was crapping around with some of snbt
taking pictures with yunnie's camera
whoa, zi lian man
HAHA!

what made the slack session even better was that the marist people were running
so it's like watching them being tortured while i sit back and shake leg
HEEE

went with winnie to go buy food for the people
haha

jiao lian drove us and two other people i dno who they were to the hawker center
bought like 14 packets of chicken rice and 1 packet of char siew rice

while waiting for the person to pack finish, jiao lian sent the two people back to marist
so me and winnie waited for him
whoa piang ehh!
so super heavy, nearly died
was "doing weights"

when jiao lian FINALLY came back, he detoured to his house to GET WATER
me and winnie waited OUTSIDE the car for him while "doing weights"
he didn't let us leave the food inside the car

today was FUN!

it was raining when i woke up
so i ended up going back to sleep
woke up at 915 and PANICKED

rushed outta the house
with my maid carrying umbrella for me

cabbed down to school and met jean

went down to canteen and had mini meeting with her and manda
was freaking cold

training was fine

chanced upon some text about "the rite of spring"
i've went for the singapore orchestra performance of it in sec one
and to be honest, i thought it too messy

and guess what she does?
she DANCES HERSELF TO DEATH
everyone else just stand around and watch her dance
ok, i find that really creepy

i woke up at 845 this morning
and i panicked
cos i THOUGHT i had make up (or extra or i dno la) MEP lesson at NINE
so i rushed rushed rushed
cabbed down to sn
met shuyu and i asked her if we were late
and she said "HUHH?! lesson's at ONE"

so i cabbed back home and got training things
and cabbed back to school

had training
played HANDBALL!
got wacked/hit quite abit?
hahaha
but heck, it was fun

broke two racket's strings while training
mine and jiao lian's

my shirt got RIDICULOUSLY wet
and i STILL had to change into blouse and pinafore for MEP lesson
otherwise mrs tham would BITE my head off

was late for lesson
reached at 1330

from what i heard, apparently mrs tham wasn't on time either
pffft

spend the first 30 minutes asking people what the heck was a CADENZA
no one knew
so all the while mrs tham was going cadenza for romantic dno do what, and comparing cadenza in the classical period with the romantic period ones, and NO ONE knew what the heck it was
so even now, i STILL don't know what the heck is a cadenza

listened to plenty of operas
my hair was FREAKING wet
but it dried pretty fast in the AIR CONDITIONED mep room

fell asleep while listening to wagner's "Die Walkure"
mep room is super nice to sleep in la
woke up when mrs tham banged on the piano

i showered and we cabbed down to sba

i felt like i was being steamed
my phone got really hot and we went to the toilet to curb the heat

hang around and listened to rach's ipod while doing lit

went home at around 530?
i got REALLY irritated at the stupid bus uncle driving bus number 70
piangs, i bet his speed meter never went over 60 km/h
what at the most was a 45 minute ride
became close to a 1 1/2 HOUR RIDE!

chickens rock man !

plenty of things have happened since i last blogged
which was about 2 days ago

monday; 30052005
training at toa payoh sports hall
got kinda lost
couldn't find the hall
i asked the passenger service person, she say turn right
i asked a bus driver he tell me turn left
BLAHHH

in the end i found it myself

after training lunched at toa payoh central macs
then trained down to yishun and met sabrina
watched MADAGASCAR!

really didn't wanted to go

MEP CAMP WAS SUPER DUPER DUPER FUN!
cheeri is SOOO funny
i think i laughed my guts out with her or something
weeling is a SWEETHEART!
crystal is so cuckoo but super cute
remus is so chim, calm and sensible
everyone else is just so enthu and fun and rocking and fantastic and WOW!
the acsi people are EVIL though

i'm the guru chicken, which is the guru of the chickens la
had to wear like a "turban" ?
which was actually just my blouse?
haha!

our production was HILARIOUS
the story starts with me, the guru chicken,
meditating, then cheeri would go OUI!
and i am suppose to start the story in an indian accent
so, two farmers had chickens and they were all happy

a group of us would come out and sing old macdonald had a farm
then POVERTY OCCURED!
hahahaha!
i forgot my line, so i impromptu go and say poverty occured, suppose to be struck

so the farmers which were two acsi guys decided to kill the chickens, but the chickens were outside the window and they heard so they all started fainting
then the GURU SAVED THEM ALL!
by formulating a plot!

plenty of ohmygods and the next day!
farmers attacked!
to the tune of mission impossible and the chickens ran!
to the tune of william tell
so the farmers run run run and got too tired so they surrendered and gave up
so all the chickens happy happy dance chicken dance and sing stayin alive
WAS SO FUNNY!!!!

our production is in support of the DON'T EAT CHICKENS PROJECT
chickens are holy, holy holy
BASK IN MY GLOW YOU INFERIOR MORTALS
THE GURU CHICKEN IS GREAT AND WONDERFULLY FANTASTIC!

had the cohort laughing quite badly

and guess what?
MY GROUP WON THE ENSEMBLE AWARD
in the other words, we were the best group

was pretty sad a parting for all of us
cos in the two days
we REALLY bonded and laughed like CRAZY

i love group eight much!
though i only knew one outta 5 acsi guys' names
and there're a couple of people who's names i'm not very sure of
but what the heck
you guys are WONDERFUL!
and you've made what i thought was going to be WASTE OF TIME into one which i'll never ever forget

met pris and bee and j8 mos after camp
had dinner and walked around with pris
bee went home
pris got a nice nice skirt
i like but i know i'll never wear

saw NICE tops
and a NICENICE dress which i decide shall be i will wear for christmas
